Thirty years of international solidarity with M.C.L. and C.E.F.A. together.
The Christian workers movement in celebration of thirty years have published a book telling its story. The money raised from the sales will go to sustain the social and agriculture initiatives that C.E.F.A. via their voluntary workers are organising in the village of Sidi Boumhadi.

CASALECCHIO An example of a town hall.
For the whole of 2002 the "Project Boma" has been under way. It was promoted by the administration of the town hall in Casalecchio di reno.as you will remember the idea of the project was to collect money from the citizens in the area to install electricity in the rural village of Boma, in Tanzania. The result has been incredible. C.E.F.A. have already received over 52.000 euro. The original goal was to arrive at 51.600 euro (100 million lire)BUT THE GENOROSITY OF THESE CITIZENS DOES NOT STOP. The new goal has been set at 65.000 euro. We would like to thank the mayor Luigi Castagni, and all who with an enormous sensitivity have informed and involved the citizens, especially Alberto Mazzantio who co-ordinated the committee in such a brilliant way.

Voluntary workers
The work done by the voluntary worker is always one of the strong points of C.E.F.A. organization. In the latter part of 2002 another four voluntary workers have joined to the tens of young and not so young who over the last thirty years in the life of C.E.F.A. have gone abroad to work on social projects. They have gone to work on projects which are already in existence in Albania. Sofia Tridente from Bergamo, and Elisabetta Borda from Turin are at Gramsh for a social project. Marcello Viani from Reggio Emilia will be going to Elbasan to follow a social project. Nicoletta Buono, from Milan will be operative in the project agro- industry, again in Elbason To all of you we hope you enjoy your work.
